      As a Performance Creative Lead you’ll manage the global team that’s responsible for designing digital campaigns that inspire millions to join Pinterest. A key part of your role will be art directing and creating engaging performance ads and social media campaigns at scale. Equal parts leader and doer, you’ll work quickly and efficiently to design beautiful work that drives people to take action. You’ll rely on your core design and production skills to iterate on assets so they always perform at their best.

      What you’ll do:

      • Lead a global team of exceptionally talented designers by art directing and creating performance marketing campaigns across social and mobile platforms
      • Be a source of inspiration through your collaboration with writers, designers, animators, producers and marketing managers in creating work that has deep cultural resonance
      • Develop the creative strategy and digital assets that hit key performance metrics (e.g. click-through rate, cost per click) across social media platforms, Pinterest native ads and display
      • Rely on data to optimize and determine ways to improve strategy, messaging and overall creative process
      • Research and forecast new and emerging trends for monthly campaigns and bespoke video/photoshoots
      • Compellingly represent the thinking behind your team’s work to key stakeholders, creative directors and team members.
      • Create engaging, memorable ads that clearly communicate Pinterest’s value to new and returning users
      • Develop quarterly app store designs to provide a cohesive user experience, from ad to app download
      • Ensure that design projects are always on brand and on track, despite tight deadlines
      • Art direct custom video and photo shoots to generate new assets that embody the Pinterest brand
      • Oversee team resourcing on projects, manage vendor relationships and help allocate budget
      • Be a positive force for culture and brand influence across the company

      What we’re looking for:

      • 8+ years of experience in design with an emphasis in performance marketing creative preferred
      • A paragon of craft, composition, typography and color. Your attention to design details is legendary.
      • An inspired leader who sees the bigger picture, but also delights in doing the work. An accomplished manager who can toggle effortlessly to acting as an IC.
      • Art meets science: Someone with strong visual communication skills who can think strategically about how to drive interest and conversion with a heavy reliance on data and science.
      • An expert collaborator: A creative with deep experience working with writing partners to develop concepts, through to execution
      • A long track record of working quickly and efficiently, and keeping pace in a lightning-fast startup environment.
      • Full proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
